About Dr. Shook
Christina B. Shook, PsyD, ABPP
|
Dr. Shook is Board Certified in Clinical Health Psychology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Clinical Health Psychology. A graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, she completed a Medical Psychology Internship at the VA North Texas Healthcare System and a Primary Care Mental Health Integration Fellowship at the Salem VAMC. She worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs before moving on to a large healthcare system in the private sector. During this time, she held multiple organizational leadership roles in quality and behavioral medicine and strategically designed and spearheaded the coordination and expansion of integrated care into system-wide medical practices. Dr. Shook has been a mentor and supervisor to psychology and medical students for almost 10 years, has held multiple academic appointments and principle investigator roles. She actively speaks at conferences, publishes regularly, and currently serves as a board member of the American Academy of Clinical Health Psychology. She is a member of multiple professional organizations serving in various leadership roles. She is also a practicum-trained, Certified Mediator and registered Neutral.
